    Phoenix Systems Acquires Bell Business Applications Assets

    Phoenix Systems Expands Presence in Western Canada and Northwestern U.S.
    Newmarket, ON — July 14, 2009 

    Phoenix Systems announced it has acquired the assets of Bell Business Applications, including its SYSPRO ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics NAV business segments. Phoenix Systems will assume existing branch operations in Winnipeg, Calgary, Vancouver and Portland, Oregon to augment their business practices in Toronto and Newmarket, Ontario.

    Phoenix Systems embarked on its growth through acquisition strategy in 2007 to enhance existing sales initiatives resulting in the acquisition of JDH Business Systems in 2008. This latest acquisition is consistent with the Company’s goals to expand its productivity based solutions for entrepreneurial manufacturers and distributors.

    Buchner Manufacturing is a manufacturer and distributor of aluminium building products with facilities in Newmarket, Pefferlaw and Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and more than 2,000 customers.
